Club Rules

These are the rules of the Rovertown Sock of the Month club. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, write to mike@rovertown.com and we will explain it in plain words.

Effective 13 August 2026 · Rovertown, St. Louis, Missouri, USA

1. Who runs this

Sock of the Month is a promotional program operated by Rovertown, in collaboration with Fiserv, and it exists to put socks on people. Buying socks from us does not make you a Rovertown customer in any other sense and gives you no rights to any other Rovertown product or service.

2. We can change or end the program

Rovertown may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program, or any tier within it, at any time and for any reason. If we do:

We may also refuse or cancel any individual subscription at our discretion. If we cancel yours, we refund any period you have paid for and not yet received.

3. Automatic renewal, in plain words

Your card is captured by Fiserv and stored by them as a token so we can charge the monthly renewal. See the privacy notice for what that means.

4. Changing tiers

The club has ranked tiers. Moving between them works exactly like this, and this is what the system actually does — it is not a summary of something more complicated:

Before any change is applied, we show you the date it starts and the price from then on, and you have to confirm it.

5. What each tier gets you

A tier is a quantity of socks, and nothing else. 1 Pair a Month ships one fresh pair; 2 Pairs a Month ships two, together in one box to one address. The Friends & Family plan has two seats and therefore ships two pairs a month, one to each person on it, at their own addresses, on one card and one charge.

We do not promise a particular design, a rotation, or anything else in the box. You are buying fresh socks on a schedule. What arrives is whatever pair we are shipping that month.

Somebody you seat on a Friends & Family plan gets socks. They do not get an account, a login, or any control over the subscription; the person paying manages it.

6. Promo codes

7. Shipping

8. The socks

They are socks. We warrant that they are socks: wearable, made of what a sock is made of, and sent to you in a condition you would expect. We make no other promise about them — not about which design you receive, not about fit beyond "one size fits most", and not about their suitability for any particular purpose.

9. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, Rovertown's total liability to you under these rules is limited to the amount you have actually paid us for the subscription or order the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Getting hold of us

Write to mike@rovertown.com. That address reaches a person, and it is the right place for cancellations you cannot complete online, refunds, address problems, or anything on this page you want explained.

These rules may be updated. If we change something that affects what you pay or how you cancel, we will tell you at the email address on your subscription before it takes effect.
